IMU assembled

posted 25 Feb 2011 03:55 by David Taylor

A couple of weeks ago, I posted the 3D model of the IMU housing I was planning to build. The main reason for the minimilist original idea was to minimise weight, but once you have these little breakout boards in your hand, you realise just how small they really are.
Anyway, I have now built a basic little box with a shelf in the middle for keeping everything nicely still and ligned up which I think should work just as well.
I took a few photos last night before sealing it all up, which I will extract from my camera and post tonight.
Sometimes, simpler is just better.
